About Asa and yoga. Asa will lead the yoga class during the week. We start the day with dynamic Ashtanga yoga, then set our sights on a day hike in the magnificent nature. After that, we end the day with meditative and restorative Yin-yoga/gongvila.The yoga during this trip is suitable for you whether you are a beginner or have previous experience as the classes are adapted to both individual and group.

Ashtanga yoga A dynamic yoga in which the positions follow a definite order so that the body and mind open up and balance the flow of energy. The yogic breathing guides us into the movements.A therapeutic form of yoga in which you calm the mind and build physical strength and agility. No previous experience is required.

Yin yoga with gong rest. A quiet meditative form of yoga. We rest in the positions for three to five minutes. The exercises are simple and are always performed lying down or sitting. This form of yoga slowly opens up our rigid bodies, quiets the mind and fills us with new energy just by being in the positions. We end the session by resting in the sound waves of the Gong. The vibrations of the gong give us an opportunity to reach a deep relaxation that allows healing and recovery at the cellular level.

About Kent and the Walks. Kent runs the company Outdoor with Kent. He arranges guided tours with hiking in focus and has many years of experience in nightlife on all continents and 25 years of experience in the surroundings of Efjord. Kent will take participants at an adapted pace to the most spectacular locations around Efjord. We will experience the forces of nature and see the fjord landscapes in the midnight sun during a lovely summer week. In this climate, it is the weather that determines where and what tours are conducted. We will therefore adapt to the weather conditions prevailing during the stay. The day trips are technically not difficult. It is of course good that you have a basic fitness and can walk 4-5 hours in Terräng.svårighetsgraderna on the tours is light to moderate.

There is an opportunity to see sea eagle, hunting falcon, elk, whale etc. If you do not want to go hiking or yoga for a day, there is of course the opportunity to just rest and be, or, for example, try fishing. Fishing equipment is available for loan. There are several nice swimming spots in both the sea and the lake if the weather permits.

The three hiking tours that are planned you can read more about below:

Stortind. 250 to 895 m.a.s.h. This hike is a bit more demanding but the view is really worth all the effort. On the way up we pass Kjerna which is a cliff with a 400 meter cliff with the old fishing camp Skjellesvik below us. To the east, Norway's national mountain Stetind (1345 m above sea level) rises proudly. Stetind is the only mountain that was not covered during the last ice age in the area. Really a super nice place. Below Kjerna there is a small lake where you can swim. After the lunch break we make our way up Stortind for those who want to challenge the summit climbing. The panoramic view we see from the top is absolutely outstanding. If the weather is good, we will see the mountain peaks of Sweden, large parts of the dramatic landscape of Efjord and the vast bodies of water in Tysfjord. In the northeast you can see the huge Frostisen, which is a glacier, towards the southwest Lofoten and the Atlantic Ocean. Time: about 6 hours with breaks. Difficulty: Technically not difficult.Moderate with some steep passes.

Svadet. 300 to 650 B.C. This unique valley has been polished by the Ice Age and left to form one of the world's largest continuous rock surfaces. The whole trip up Svadet runs along a huge granite surface where the surrounding sides are characterized by bonsai-like pine forest.A unique area with mountains in the present day. This will be an easier hike. At the top of the mountain there is a small lake with swimming facilities for those who wish. We eat lunch and enjoy the view. Time:About 3 hours with breaks. Difficulty easy.

Gulliklikollen. 40 to 556 m.a.s.h. An incredibly nice hike with amazing views both over Efjord and into the eastern parts of Ballangen. We can see the glacier Frostisen from afar in the east near the Swedish border. The high pillars of Skjombrons and Narvik a little further north. When we reach the tree line, the forest changes from pine forest to sparse mountain birch forest and finally we reach the Karlfjället. The trail continues in the rolling countryside past Gulliklivatnet where we stop to drink in the mountain stream and take a bath if we want. Here we eat our lunch. The last bit towards the top is easy to hike. Here at the top we also see Vargfjället to the north. Toppenhike simply. Time: about 5 hours with breaks. Severity.Mild to moderate.

All activities in terms of hiking, swimming etc. that are outdoors can be affected by the prevailing weather and wind and can therefore be changed to other activities and places.
